We reached this place by 3 PM approx. for lunch. This place offers both veg and non-veg options. (Not a halal restaurant though)
The fried rice (pic) varieties here are authentic, with their small rice grains and perfect Chinese taste.
we had ordered soups, chicken pakoda (pic), Paneer mutter, tikka, egg thali, chicken curries, naan, roti, schezwan fried rice..
All tasted good. Basically NE people have less salt in food comparatively, so no complains on that. we can sprinkle and manage the taste buds :)
Overall, this place impressed us with it taste as well as price (300-400 per head)
Food was good. At first glance it seemed overpriced but then the quality of food seemed to justify its price. It was however unfortunate that the service was not that great. We had to wait about 15-20 minutes to get our table cleaned which had some leftover food from the previous guests. We asked atleast 2-3 times to get it cleaned but still had to wait a lot. However some other tables were cleaned earlier than ours. I think there is a lack of proper communication between the service staff. Hope they sort it out amongst themselves.
On the way to dawki, or on the way to Shillong Peak, you may stop over for lunch. They have assamese, bengali, north indian and chinese cuisine. Snacks are also available.
Food is rich. They have veg thali, egg thali, fish thali, chicken thali, mutton thali options too.
I tried veg thali, masala kulcha, tandoori roti and mutton rogan josh.
They have indoor seating and outdoor seating arrangement too.
Washrooms are clean and decent.
